National Club Soccer Golf Championship

Club Max, in association with Xara Soccer, is excited to announce the inaugural National Club Soccer Golf Championship. This National Championship will give members of soccer clubs throughout the country the chance to combine their passion for soccer with their love for the game of golf. The Championship will consist of six regional qualifying events and a National Final that will be held next July at Torrey Pines in San Diego, the home of the 2008 US Open.

Regional Events

The regional events will take place starting in April 2008 and run through June 2008. The sites for the regionals will be: Atlanta, Boston, Baltimore, Chicago, Columbus and Southern California. Winning teams will move on to the National Final being held at Torrey Pines on the “Championship” south course just six weeks after the US Open is played there next June.

Teams

The tournament is a team event, with each team representing their soccer club or association. Each team will consist of four players, all of whom must be members of the club or association that they represent. Each club or association can submit as many teams as they would like, and no handicapping will be involved. The teams will play for the right to call themselves the National Champions of Club Soccer.

This unique event provides you with the opportunity to represent your club in a National Championship while combining your passion for both soccer and golf. Space in each regional qualifier is limited, so form your team(s) and sign up now so you don’t miss out.
